OSHA sees fall-protection violations during storm recovery in N.J.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited 26 companies for violating fall-protection and other safety standards during storm recovery work at towns along New Jersey's shore, according to this article. For instance, C.H. Fuernisen Construction is facing a $5,200 fine for failing to provide a worker with a safety harness. The federal agency sent its inspectors to help guide recovery work, and noticed safety violations at some job sites.
