Poll: Most teachers support common core, but want more training

While 75% of teachers say they support the Common Core State Standards, only a third say they have received the training and resources needed to teach to them, according to a poll of 800 K-12 teachers conducted by the American Federation of Teachers. The survey, conducted in March, also found 83% of those polled support a moratorium of at least one year on the consequences tied to the standards.
