Medicare launches online health records program in S.C.

CMS recently announced that Medicare has launched a pilot program for online personal health records in South Carolina. The program allows the state's Medicare beneficiaries to access their own PHRs, which contain information about hospital and physician claims. The goal is for CMS to learn more about the ways consumers use PHRs.
