9 groups -- 1 with TSA officers -- file challenge on knife rule

Some of the Transportation Security Administration's own officers are part of one group that filed a legal challenge on Monday against the TSA's decision to let fliers carry some small knives on planes. In total, nine groups filed the challenge, including the American Federation of Government Employees; the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association; the consumer group FliersRights.org; the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA at 20 airlines; the Association of Professional Flight Attendants at American Airlines; the Allied Pilots Association of American pilots; the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers; the Teamsters; and the Transport Workers Union.
