Advisers and investors meet on social media platforms

Nine out of 10 financial advisers are "LinkedIn," and a majority of those are getting new clients on the social media platform, says Jennifer Grazel, LinkedIn's global head of category development for financial services. A study by LinkedIn and Cogent indicates that investors are also using social media to learn about financial products and services. Grazel suggests that the fusion creates a big opportunity for advisers to leverage social media and keep in touch with clients.
