Ala. city council considers using $33,000 to fix road

The Mobile, Ala., City Council is poised to vote on a taxpayer appropriation of more than $33,000 to upgrade a road that leads to an Airbus manufacturing plant. Besides repairing the road, the upgrade will provide better access to a fire station and an aviation-control tower.
