Allergy shots, drops are equally effective in reducing symptoms

U.S. researchers reviewed 34 clinical trials on pediatric allergies and found that allergy shots and oral drops were both effective in curbing symptoms of asthma and allergies. They reported in the journal Pediatrics that oral treatment may be a better option because it can be administered at home and can be tolerated by children who are afraid of needle pricks.
