Amtrak receives $30.2M funding for repairs after Sandy

Amtrak has received $30.2 million from the Federal Railroad Administration for the rehabilitation of infrastructure that was damaged by Superstorm Sandy last fall. "The storm's wake demonstrates the necessity to not only rebuild, but to invest in our infrastructure so we are better prepared to withstand and recover from future natural disasters," said FRA Administrator Joseph Szabo.
