Colin Powell honored by alma mater City College of N.Y.

The City College of New York is honoring alumnus Colin Powell by naming its social sciences division for him. Five departments will be housed at the Colin L. Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership. Powell, the first black U.S. Secretary of State, graduated from the school in 1958, and returned last week to attend the naming ceremony.
