Do strong relationships make great teachers?

Students won't respect teachers who don't care for them and who don't teach them, educator Renee Moore writes in this blog post. In fact, a successful teacher is one who develops good relationships overall -- with students, colleagues and parents. "Students learn much from their relationships with their teachers. What few have acknowledged is how much students learn from watching how their teachers interact with others," she writes.
