High-tech art project provides humans with super senses

Students at the Royal College of Art in London have designed a pair of masks that augment the senses, giving their wearers "superhuman" sight and hearing. The project, called Eidos, is concerned with exploring the potential of technology to alter the limits of human capacity, and researchers say the technology could be applied to the real world by giving spectators more insight at sporting events or helping them hear better at a concert.
