How Zipcar is curbing carbon emissions

Zipcar officials calculate that the company's 11,000 vehicles keep 20 times as many vehicles from being privately owned and eliminate more than 1 million metric tons of carbon dioxide annually. The collaboration among urban residents through car sharing is an example of creative solutions needed for the world's big problems, says co-founder Robin Chase.
