More blacks are diagnosed with MS than whites

The incidence of multiple sclerosis was higher among blacks, particularly black women, compared with whites, Hispanics and Asians, according to a study published in the journal Neurology. As much as a quarter of the risk for the condition appears to be due to genetic factors, a researcher said.
