Organic semiconductors open way to thermoelectric generation

Organic semiconductors are the key to a new class of thermoelectric materials that can turn waste heat into electricity. The materials, developed by researchers at the University of Michigan, are lightweight and can be wrapped around hot objects, such as parts of motorized equipment, to generate electricity.
