Radiotherapy linked to 2nd cancer risk in prostate cancer

A study presented at the American Urological Association meeting revealed prostate cancer patients who underwent radiotherapy had a 25% increased risk of developing second cancers and were 60% more likely to develop lung cancer. Researchers said the risk of any second cancer was greater at least five years after treatment.
