Report: Infected websites responsible for most corporate malware

The bulk of the malware infecting corporate networks can be traced to inadvertent Internet downloads by employees, according to a new survey by Palo Alto Networks that finds cybercriminals are moving away from tainted e-mails and increasingly targeting their victims using "drive-by" downloads. Palo Alto Networks product marketing manager Wade Williamson said malware picked up via the Internet passes more easily through virus detection software and is harder to detect once embedded, taking on average 20 days to find and block.
