Starbucks, SABMiller lauded for sustainability approach

While many food and drink companies that rely on water, coffee, cocoa and other natural resources focus their sustainability efforts on farms, both Starbucks and SABMiller have embraced holistic, large-scale approaches, said a study from advisory company KPMG. "They really worked with their partners and looked across the landscape and identified that climate and community were at the core of their business," report co-author Lee Gross said of Starbucks.
