Tech veterans: Cheaper labor pool hinders our employment

Tech visas that let companies hire foreign IT professionals are hindering the employment opportunities for experienced U.S. IT professionals, according to critics of the H-1B visa program who aren't convinced there is a tech-talent shortage. An Economic Policy Institute study says that just half of U.S. tech, math, science and engineering students are able to find work in their chosen field. The Information Technology Industry Council says that study is flawed.
