Test shows efficacy in detecting neuropathy in diabetes

A study presented at the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists annual meeting found diabetes patients with neuropathy showed worse electrochemical skin conductance, as measured by the FDA-approved Sudoscan test, than those who did not have neuropathy. Researchers said the test may be useful for early diagnosis of diabetic neuropathy and for evaluation of responses to therapeutic interventions.
