Wind projects in Southwestern Alaska included in state budget

The Alaska state budget includes funding for several wind development projects in the southwestern region. These projects include a wind reconnaissance study for Levelock which would receive $10,000, as well as $60,000 for a wind feasibility study for Egegik. Kokhanok Electric also will receive $185,000 for its wind development project for Lake Iliamna village under the state budget.
