Aerobic-endurance exercise reduces metabolic syndrome risk factors

Dynamic aerobic-endurance exercise helped reduce waist circumference and blood pressure and raise levels of good cholesterol, according to an analysis of data from seven studies presented at the EuroPRevent 2012 conference. Researchers chose interventions that lasted at least four weeks but said the data did not show the optimal duration of exercise needed to achieve maximum benefits.
