New Zealand students hand over their cellphones

A primary school in New Zealand has banned students from bringing cellphones to school after a student used an older sibling's cellphone to show his classmates inappropriate material. Under the policy, students will be asked to give their phones to school staff at the start of the day and have them returned after classes have ended. Students who do not follow the rules could have their phones and other devices confiscated.
