Ala. school makes changes to boost healthfulness of meals

An elementary school in Alabama was honored by the U.S. Agriculture Department for its health and nutrition efforts after changing its food offerings to meet federal meal standards. Nutrition professionals also are hosting tasting parties for students to sample fruits and vegetables. Officials said the changes have improved the taste of the meals, and they've noticed more teachers eating school meals.
