American Airlines unrolls red carpet for the kings of Klout

The social media elite are getting VIP treatment from American Airlines, which has announced that people with a Klout score of 55 or higher can apply for free day passes to the airline's Admirals Club at one of 40 airports, even if they're flying on a different airline. It's hoped that the club's comfortable surroundings, free Wi-Fi and free beer will convince social influencers to write favorably about the airline, although such mentions are not a requirement.
