Banks are relaxing business lending standards, Fed survey finds

Business loan demand is increasing, and banks are easing lending requirements, according to the Federal Reserve's quarterly survey of senior loan officers. The survey found that 19% of banks have relaxed standards for large borrowers. Meanwhile, one-third of banks have tightened mortgage lending for borrowers with lower credit scores.
