CME works on new crude futures to complement WTI contract

Dan Brusstar, senior director of energy research & product development at CME Group, said the exchange is working to launch U.S. crude oil futures contracts, likely to include a revival of its Louisiana sour contract and a light sweet crude contract, by year-end. "Being optimistic, we're looking to launch something by the end of the year," Brusstar said. "The market is going to be there."
