Edison Mission asset sale may include 1.73 GW of wind

Edison Mission Energy, which filed for bankruptcy protection in December 2012, is considering divesting 1.73 gigawatts of wind assets as part of an overall plan to divest its 4.5-GW portfolio of power plants. EME's wind power unit, Edison Mission Wind, owns 16 wind projects with a combined output capacity of 2.1 GW, of which 1.73 GW are operational wind farms.
