The face of plastic surgery becomes more masculine

The typical plastic surgery patient is ever more likely to be male as more men seek to improve their looks, writes plastic surgeon Jeff Weinzweig. The trend may be driven by a more competitive job market, an increased emphasis on "face to face" interaction online or a more self-conscious population, Weinzweig writes. Men seeking plastic surgery most often request liposuction, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty and gynecomastia correction, according to a recent American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery report.
