Connected TV came of age as an alternative to the old television model at this year's Digital Content NewFronts, writes Steven Rosenbaum. The programming lineups of Yahoo, AOL and YouTube were mini-TV-season schedules, prompting advertisers to consider running pre-roll commercials for the first time. "Overall TV is dead. And Web video is here to stay," Rosenbaum writes.
