How to get your creative juices flowing

One way to generate new ideas is to impose artificial restrictions on your operations, writes Brian Klapper, president of The Klapper Institute. For example, you could decide to focus exclusively on how to serve your existing customers or look for ways to lower the price of your product by a significant margin. Klapper also recommends studying companies in other industries, even those unrelated to your own, to find inspiration for improvements in how you do business.
