Imports support about 19 million jobs in a variety of sectors of the U.S. economy, according to a new report from a consortium of business groups, including NRF. "It's really hard to find anything anymore that's completely made in the U.S. or in China. So, the whole picture about imports and the role they play in the U.S. economy (has evolved). They were always important, but now they are more important than ever," said Laura Baughman, president of Trade Partnership Worldwide.
