Inside Facebook's Instagram deal

Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg share the inside story of the negotiations that led to Facebook's $1 billion acquisition of the photo-sharing service. The pair say that personal chemistry and complementary business models made the deal attractive to both sides. "Most of the other things we bought were talent acquisitions, but in this case we wanted to keep what it was and build that out," Zuckerberg says.
