Lenny's stresses customizing sandwiches to cut calories

Lenny's Sub Shops has created an under-500-calorie menu that features lighter versions of sandwiches already on the menu and aims to demonstrate to guests how they can cut fat and calories by customizing their favorite subs, said Brent Alvord, president of the 147-unit chain. "You can eat healthy, or you can load it up with extra bacon, extra cheese, extra oil and extra calories."
