Students from Central High School in Prince George's County in Maryland are preparing their egg-launching rocket for the Team America Rocketry Challenge this week -- one of just eight all-girl teams and the only all African-American group. "I've never been in a competition like this before," said team member Jasmyn Logan. Leaders say exposing more girls and African-American students to science, engineering, math and technology is a key goal. The competition, co-sponsored by the Aerospace Industries Association, takes place Saturday and will draw 100 teams from around the country to Washington, D.C.
