More Australian schools launch BYOD programmes

A growing number of schools in Australia are adopting bring-your-own-device programmes, in which students can use their own mobile devices at school. Richard Jones, hired to introduce educational technology to The Southport School, says the school's BYOD programme has been better than "the single-device approach". However, even these programmes require funding for infrastructure and other needs, and officials say the question is how the needs will be met.
