New York readies suit over mortgage deal with banks

On Monday, New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced plans to sue Bank of America and Wells Fargo for violating their obligations as part of a deal that banks and 49 state attorneys general reached last year relating to foreclosure abuses. The banks said they will work to handle the issues raised by Schneiderman.
