Phil Knight, chairman of Nike, says that Wieden+Kennedy co-founder Dan Wieden made him a fan of advertising with creative and intense efforts that generated media buzz. "When we get it right, they go together. It's not easy to do, but getting those two things to go together behind a great product is what makes a successful campaign," Knight says in this interview with Rance Crain. Both men were recently inducted into the American Advertising Federation's Advertising Hall of Fame.
