A bill that would bar New Jersey employers from requesting social media user names and passwords from job applicants is a good idea but "paints with too broad a brush," Gov. Chris Christie said in a provisional veto message. The governor said he could approve the measure with a few changes. Workers who believe they've been wronged should take their complaints to the labor commissioner, rather than filing lawsuits in state court, Christie said.
