Older physicians show greater licensure rate growth in report

A report by the Federation of State Medical Boards revealed a 3% increase in the number of licensed U.S. physicians between 2010 and 2012. However, researchers noted greater growth in the number of licensed doctors in older age groups compared with younger ones. The report appears in the Journal of Medical Regulation.
