Patagonia creates company to invest in green startups

Apparel company Patagonia is launching a venture fund to invest in companies that seek to make a positive impact in areas including clothing, water and waste. The goal is to do something meaningful with Patagonia's profits, says fund chief Rose Marcario. "It's lofty, but I think Patagonia is a very good example of how, when you do the right thing, it's also good for business," she says.
