Sandy Hook's six fallen educators awarded Citizen Honors Medal

The Congressional Medal of Honor Society has given the Citizen Honors Medal, the highest award it gives to a civilian, to the six educators killed during the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Connecticut in December. The educators honored displayed "courage, sacrifice and selflessness" in trying to protect students from an armed gunman in their school, the organization said.
