Significant increase in BYOD coming, report says

Thirty-eight percent of companies will discontinue offering mobile devices to employees by 2016 as bring-your-own-device policies become commonplace, a Gartner report predicts. However, Gartner says, the business case for BYOD requires attention. "If you are offering BYOD, take advantage of the opportunity to show the rest of the organization the benefits it will bring to them and to the business," Gartner's David Willis says.
