Texas Children's Hospital to assess use of PET/MRI in children

Texas Children's Hospital has acquired a PET/MRI system from Philips Healthcare, making it the first children's hospital to use the hybrid device. The tool will be used as part of clinical trials aiming to establish the combined modality's effectiveness in pediatric patients. The FDA has approved the device for adult patients.
