Tweeting these words can trigger regulatory scrutiny

"Circumvent," "loophole," "rumor" -- those are just three on a list of red-flag words that financial advisers should never use on Twitter, Putnam Investments reports. Words likely to bring FINRA and the Securities and Exchange Commission calling when used on social media also include "secret," "inaccurate" and "oversimplified," according to Putnam, which published a list of 36 never-use-them words.
