Windows 8 upgrade is on the way, Microsoft says

Microsoft said it will update Windows 8 this year to address customer concerns and try to persuade more users to adopt the operating system. Code-named "Windows Blue," the update may allow users to return to the classic Windows desktop, rather than being forced to touch the tiles of Windows 8, Michael Liedtke writes. Microsoft's Tami Reller said Windows Blue "will provide more options for businesses, and give consumers more options for work and play."
