"Windows Blue" will come to market before year's end

The update of Windows 8, code-named Windows Blue, will ship this year and provide a variety of new features for the operating system, according to Microsoft. "The Windows Blue update is also an opportunity for us to respond to the customer feedback that we've been closely listening to since the launch of Windows 8 and Windows RT," Microsoft's Tami Reller said. Microsoft has sold 100 million Windows 8 licenses since last fall.
