Young golfers take a swing at newest school sport

The PGA of America's Junior League Golf concept aims to do for golf what Little League does in baseball -- and many groups are springing up. "This is a school club, not a team, so anyone can participate; there are no tryouts or cuts," said Kelly Williams, manager of the Greenbrier Golf & Country Club in Lexington, Ky., where youth golfers from the EJ Hayes Middle School play. "But among the kids involved, there’s still a ton of pride in being part of it."
