Fighting in Chad strains aid efforts

Clashes between Chadian government forces and rebels have reportedly left more than 150 dead and raised serious concerns for UN agencies and aid groups over the distribution of aid for hundreds of thousands of refugees in the area. The Koukou Angarana region of eastern Chad hosts more than 80,000 refugees, according to a spokesman for the UNHCR.
