VisionCare needs $20M for implantable telescope

VisionCare Ophthalmic Technologies is looking to raise $20 million to finance the production and sales of an implantable telescope, which was recommended for approval by an FDA panel for use in patients with end-stage, age-related macular degeneration. VisionCare also is planning to expand its research and development facility and manufacturing plant in Israel.
