IOM issues recommendations for obesity prevention

The Institute of Medicine has released recommendations to help address obesity that include requiring schools to promote at least 60 minutes of daily physical activity, making healthy foods and beverages more available, and creating industrywide guidelines on which foods should be marketed to children.
